Random Shots

Random links to various news stories and blog posts that caught my attention this week:

Gaza tunnel collapses, killing one and injuring several others – Sounds like a tragedy but when you consider that these tunnels are used to smuggle rockets to attack innocent civilians or to stage terror attacks against innocent civilians it may just change your perspective a bit.

What Good is One Pistol Against Terrorists? – While many will ask this question in earnest, this post by WeaponsMan highlights the story of a Pakistani teacher who engaged terrorists with a handgun while his students escaped slaughter.

The DeLorean is going back into production, in Texas…

  1. Weaponsman is always enjoyable. I wrote on the same topic recently, and honestly cannot comprehend how people fail to see the value in a “lowly” pistol. Everyone, even terrorists, know that incoming fire has right of way.

A Delorean?! Maybe now I’ll be able to get one… or not, they’re still out of my price range. 🙂

    1. Thanks for stopping in Gabe and your insight is always appreciated.

I may not be able to clear a mall of terrorists on my own with a J-Frame but I can sure cover our exit, buy people some time to escape or sell my life as dearly as possible.

At a $100K they are out of my price range as well and they are ot my favorite cars but this guy has a great story. He was a mechanic that started buying up spare parts, that turned into a restoration business and making spare parts and, now, complete cars!

Have a great weekend and God bless.
