Random links to various news stories and blog posts that caught my attention this week:
Hating on the Taurus Judge – Few firearms generate as much debate as the Taurus Judge, in all its incarnations. Gerg Ellifritz gives his take on this shotgun revolver and some of the rounds that people plan on using with it.
Self-Defense Myths That Just Won’t Die – There are probably as many myths about self-defense as there is good information. Separating those two is probably the hardest thing when trying to prepare yourself for such a situation. These “mythbusters” can help.
Safe From The War by Chris Hernandez – Chris Hernandez is a veteran who has served in various hot spots around the world including Afghanistan. He’s also been a police officer (may still be, I don’t recall) and a Texan. He’s also a writer who draws from those experiences to write some good stuff. His latest book was released last week and is a really good read.
The Secret Casualties Of Iraq’s Abandoned Chemical Weapons – I came across this interesting article on the chemical weapons found in Iraq. Those that didn’t make their way into Syria were found buried and abandoned. Unusable by traditional armies but more than adequate to the purposes of terrorists like ISIS. Of course, our soldiers paid the price for keeping these weapons a secret.
Have a great weekend and God bless.
