…I am unspiritual, sold as a slave to sin. I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do.
No matter how hard we try we still fail. We still sin. As Paul says in this letter to the Romans “what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do.” I have felt the same way for decades, always trying but always falling short.
Despite what some may think, none of us are perfect. We all sin; against ourselves, against others and against God. The good news is that God sent His son, Jesus Christ, to pay the price for our shortcomings. He offers us a gift of grace and salvation and all we have to do is accept it…
That is the most amazing gift I can think of…forgiveness.
Thank you Jesus. Thank you God.
God bless and keep each and every one of you.
